MACHINE SHOP LABOURER

Adept Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a major, high precision engineering manufacturer supplying critical components into demanding global industries.

We’re looking for a Machine Shop Labourer who understands heavy industry, takes pride in doing things right, and isn’t afraid of graft.

You’ll be working inside a busy machine shop, supporting skilled machinists and keeping production moving.

Your day will include:

• Filing and grinding large metal components to required standards
• Fettling and finishing precision parts
• Moving materials and components safely using FLTs and Side Loaders
• Supporting the wider team to maintain flow and quality on the shop floor
• Keeping your area clean, safe and production-ready

Continental shift pattern (rotating days and nights).

This offers structured time off across the year but requires commitment and reliability.

£13.54 per hour/ Overtime available

• Experience in a machine shop or heavy engineering environment
• Confident with manual filing and grinding
• Experience operating Fork Lift Trucks and ideally Side Loaders
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• A reliable, team-focused attitude
