To support the production of light fittings within the production department, to ensure quality of production and to support the team to achieve the production targets.
Key Responsibilities- Set up the work area and turn on computer
- Complete any tasks outstanding from the previous day
- Collect the days task list as required
- Collect parts and supplies as determined by the job sheets from the locations
- Check any stock items on the inventory that are required, inform supervisor if stock information is incorrect or supplies are faulty
- Perform fault and quality checks, against the specification, on the produced fitting reporting any defaults to the line leader/supervisor
- Ensure that the produced item is fully tested to specification, with an awareness of the personal responsibility for the production quality
- Ensure that the task is signed off on the computer as completed and take to packing area
- Isolate and record any defective items under the quarantine procedure
- Ensure that the work area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner, clean as you go, or complete task at the end of day bell, ensure any spillages are reported directly. Ensure any additional cleaning duties are completed.
- Report any defective work equipment, machinery or potential health and safety risks to the supervisor or Production Manager. Wear PPE as supplied and directed
- Ensure that personal protective equipment is worn at all times as required
You will be self-driven, conscientious with good communication skills. Mature and credible with an ability to work on your own initiative or as a part of a team. You will have a clear focus on high quality and an attention to detail, with the ability to work flexibly. High level of professionalism

- Computer Literate with the ability to use the EFACS system, (training given)
