Welder

The Role:

Adept Resourcing Engineering are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy and well-established engineering business in Rotherham. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects, including pressure vessels, pipework, and general steelwork.

This is a temp to perm role.

• Set up, mark out, fabricate, tack and weld jobs as instructed
• Work confidently from engineering drawings, following both written and verbal instructions
• Carry out welding using MIG
• Operate a range of workshop equipment including cranes, band saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, paint spraying tools, and hydraulic testing equipment
• Assemble and finish products to the highest standards in a professional and safe manner
• Pack and label finished products for delivery
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
• On occasion, work on client sites or stay away when required

• Proven welding/fabrication experience within a workshop environment
• Competent in MIG
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and nights when required

• Working with pressure vessels and pipe fabrication
• Use of manipulators, turntables, rotators, and hydraulic testing equipment

• £16 per hour
