Vertu Motorrad Rotherham is looking for an Aftersales Manager.
Your roleWe’re looking for an Aftersales Manager to join our high‑performing team at Vertu BMW Motorrad Rotherham. This is a great opportunity to step into a visible, hands‑on leadership role within a small but successful dealership, where your impact will be felt every day. We’re offering a basic salary of £35,000, with an OTE of £45,000, plus a strong benefits package and ongoing development opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being present on the shop floor, working closely with both customers and colleagues. You’ll lead from the front, supporting the team while staying directly involved in day‑to‑day aftersales activity. As Aftersales Manager, you’ll oversee the service and parts functions, ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience from start to finish. At times, this role will involve overseeing the parts department independently, so strong motorcycle knowledge is essential.
You’ll be responsible for creating a well‑organised, and supportive working environment where people can do their best work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the Technicians, Service Advisors, and Parts Advisor to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Monitoring costs in line with the business plan while maintaining quality and customer service standards
- Ensuring customer information is recorded accurately and in line with Group requirements
- Making sure manufacturer standards are consistently met
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing colleagues by monitoring performance and helping individuals succeed through clear, supportive guidance
- Putting clear, effective processes in place to achieve customer satisfaction levels above the manufacturer national average
You’ll bring experience in an Aftersales or similar leadership role, ideally within a franchised motor environment.
You’ll be able to demonstrate:
- A consistent track record of improving performance, profitability, and efficiency
- Confidence working in a fast‑paced but structured environment
- A practical understanding of motorcycles and parts operations
- Alignment with our company values and a collaborative leadership style
We’re proud to invest more in our colleagues’ development than any other motor retailer. If you’re successful, you can expect ongoing training, clear career pathways, and the support you need to grow.
Our benefits include:
- 25 days’ holiday (increasing with length of service) plus bank holidays
- Access to our online rewards platform with cashback and retail discounts
