Operations and Continuous Improvement Manager

This is an onsite role at our Rotherham facility, giving you the visibility and day‑to‑day connection needed to lead effectively.

As Operations & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will:

• Oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a key production unit
• Lead operational planning, daily/weekly performance reviews, and KPI reporting
• Manage logistics and material flow to support smooth, efficient supply chain operations
• Champion continuous improvement, lean principles, and waste reduction
• Provide clear leadership to operations, a process engineer, and logistics
• Act as Duty Manager out of hours, ensuring site‑wide safety and risk management
• Translate business strategy into clear operational targets

This role suits someone who brings structure, clarity, and a collaborative approach to improvement.

• Experience in complex, chemical, or hazardous manufacturing
• Strong understanding of safety, COMAH, process operations, and risk management
• A track record of delivering continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Confidence in managing competing priorities and making balanced decisions
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• A leadership style that builds trust, alignment, and accountability
• A relevant degree plus Green Belt as a minimum (Chartership or Level 7 desirable)
