What you’ll leadAs Operations & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will:
- Oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a key production unit
- Lead operational planning, daily/weekly performance reviews, and KPI reporting
- Manage logistics and material flow to support smooth, efficient supply chain operations
- Champion continuous improvement, lean principles, and waste reduction
- Provide clear leadership to operations, a process engineer, and logistics
- Act as Duty Manager out of hours, ensuring site‑wide safety and risk management
- Translate business strategy into clear operational targets
This role suits someone who brings structure, clarity, and a collaborative approach to improvement.
What you bring- Experience in complex, chemical, or hazardous manufacturing
- Strong understanding of safety, COMAH, process operations, and risk management
- A track record of delivering continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Confidence in managing competing priorities and making balanced decisions
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- A leadership style that builds trust, alignment, and accountability
- A relevant degree plus Green Belt as a minimum (Chartership or Level 7 desirable)
