Ward A4 is a 33 bedded care of the elderly friendly, fast-paced elderly care ward providing high-quality, person-centred care to patients with a wide range of complex medical needs. We’re looking for motivated and compassionate Staff Nurses to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the jobWe are dedicated to delivering safe, effective nursing care with dignity and respect at the forefront.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress
- Work collaboratively with doctors, therapists, and support staff
- Support healthcare assistants and contribute to a positive team culture
- Engage in discharge planning and family communication
- Take part in ongoing learning and development opportunities

Person Specification Qualifications- Degree/Diploma in Nursing
- Current level one NMC registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Mentorship qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Demonstrates knowledge of policies, practices and procedures e.g. NHS national policies, standards, requirements and directions that relate to patient care
- Planning and organising:
- Demonstrates an ability to prioritise own workload and responds appropriately to urgent and emergency situations
- Communication and relationships:
- Able to present and receive complex information within a multi professional team.
- Ability to convey sensitive information in
- an empathetic manner to patients,
- relative/carers and staff.
