What will I be doing as a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader? Madiba is a community of loving people, dedicated to supporting and caring for young individuals aged between 7-18 years old. Our dedicated team are here to help young people through their challenges and provide them with the tools and guidance they need every single day. Developing positive relationships with the young people in our care, their families and external agencies Leading shifts within the home and supervising staff Contributing to the young persons care plans and any risk assessments, supporting with implementation and reviews Supporting young people with daily activities, educational needs and emotional wellbeing Ensuring that good quality records are maintained as required What we are looking for?

Completed NVQ/ Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential ! Experience in working within a childrens residential setting People who have the ability to interact with young people and manage challenging behaviours calmly A full UK driving licence You must also be over 21 years of age to meet industry regulations Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings and sleep-in duties on a rota basis - our shifts are 7:30am 11:00pm and sleep-ins 11:30pm 7:30am 2 days on and 4 days off rolling rota (paid at £50 per sleep) What can we offer at Madiba?
