We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our client's team in Rotherham. This role involves providing specialised cardiac care to patients, including performing invasive cardiac procedures and diagnostics. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and treatment.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Invasive Cardiac Physiologist will be responsible for conducting and assisting with invasive cardiac procedures such as angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. This role includes monitoring patient conditions during procedures, interpreting diagnostic data, and providing expert advice on cardiac care. The physiologist will also be involved in developing treatment plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, and collaborating with the cardiac care team to optimise patient outcomes.
Qualifications& Experience
- Registered Cardiac Physiologist with the relevant professional body
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in invasive cardiac procedures
- Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and diagnostic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using cardiac diagnostic equipment and software
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in cardiac care
