Be part of the Rotherham Children’s Public Health Nursing Team!
The post holder will provide a high standard of physical and emotional care to service users across the Rotherham area, will work closely withthe 0-19 public health team and Oral Health Lead to assess a family or childshealth needs. The post holder will work independently with the child/family followingan agreed plan of care, will work in partnership with CYP & families, willbe expected to contribute to the on-going development of the Rotherham Children's Public Health Nursing Service and support with all commissioned workdetailed in the service specification including the supervised tooth brushingprogramme.

Main duties of the job- To have some knowledge of child development and Oral Healthacross the 0-19 age range
- To liaise with other health professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies to improve and maintain outcomes for children and families
- To attend meetings as required ensuring effective communication up and down the service
- Work collaboratively with the Public Health Nurses and Oral Health Lead toplan, implement and undertake any work commissioned and outlined in the servicespecification including supporting the supervised tooth brushing programme.
- To work collaboratively with internal and external partners delivering childfocussed care
- To access peer or clinical supervision
- To work with families with an identified need as directed and supervised by Public Health Nurses and Oral Health Lead.
- To access relevant study days to enhance skills and knowledge
- To liaise and work in partnership with a designated 0-19 Team leader and Toadhere to TRFT policies and procedures for safeguarding children and adults.
- To represent The Rotherham Foundation Trust both locally and nationally where appropriate
- To communicate effectively ensuring cascading of relevant information upand down The Rotherham Foundation Trust organisational structure including 0-19locality teams
- To work flexibly to provide cover for absent colleagues when required.
- To share knowledge across the wider CYPS workforce
