Support Associate / Support Worker – Rotherham Service
We are Eden Futures, delivering exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs. Our Rotherham Service has been rated Outstanding following a CQC inspection in 2025.
Compensation & Working Hours- Hourly rate: £12.21 – equivalent to an annual salary of £26,652.72 based on a 42‑hour work week (annual figure for illustration only). National Living Wage applies and will be pro‑rated based on hours worked.

- Enhanced DBS check required before commencing employment.
- Complete a comprehensive induction programme (face‑to‑face training, e‑learning and shadowing) and receive pay for the training period.
- Support to complete the Care Certificate and achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (or a relevant qualification), provided through our training partner, Paragon Training.
- £500 bonus through our referral‑a‑friend scheme (unlimited referrals).

- Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and choices, considering their assessed needs and individual support and care plans, and where appropriate, participate in the development of plans.
- Ensure safety of individuals, taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect them from abuse wherever possible.
- Provide emotional support when needed, maintaining a person‑centred approach.
- Encourage participation in chosen social activities and services in the community, manage finances and medication responsibly, assist with practical tasks around the home, and provide personal care, hygiene and healthcare support.
- Act as an informal point of contact for the service users’ circle of support (e.g. families and social workers).
- Accurately report and record any issues related to the care and support of our service users to monitor their health and wellbeing.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and consider the health, safety and welfare of others.
- Genuine care and compassion, with a passion for helping service users achieve independence and a full, active life.
