Location: Rotherham

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00–16:30, Friday 8:00–15:30

We’re working with a growing, industry-leading engineering business in Rotherham to recruit an NPI / Quality Engineer who will play a key role in bringing new products from concept to production – while ensuring exceptional quality throughout the process.

Whether you already have NPI experience, or you re a Quality Engineer ready to grow into a broader role, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something impactful.

The Role

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain to:

  • Lead NPI projects from concept to production
  • Develop project plans and coordinate internal & supplier activities
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Conduct risk assessments, FMEAs, and validation processes
  • Develop and document manufacturing processes
  • Support audits, quality plans, and third-party inspections (e.g. Lloyds)
What We're Looking For
  • Background in Quality Engineering (automotive or aerospace preferred)
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, FMEA, and root cause analysis
  • Confident working with engineering drawings and technical data
  • Excellent communicator and team collaborator
  • Willingness to train and grow into full NPI responsibilities
