Electrical Design Engineer

Elevation Design & Projects are working with a growing business in the power generation and energy solutions sector to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer.

This Electrical Design Engineer role suits someone with a solid grounding in electrical design who’s keen to develop further in power systems, distribution and control. You’ll work on projects covering backup power, distributed energy and renewable technologies, supporting solutions that keep critical operations running.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll support projects from design through to build and installation, working closely with project, production and site teams.

• Support electrical system design (SLDs, panel layouts, GA drawings)
• Ensure designs meet client specifications and industry standards
• Produce and maintain drawings, documentation and technical records
• Assist with BOMs and electrical packages
• Support project delivery to time and budget
• Collaborate with production and site teams during build and install
• Keep up to date with industry standards and new technologies

• Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of electrical design, power distribution and control systems
• AutoCAD or EPLAN experience
• Familiarity with 18th Edition standards (desirable)
• Strong problem-solving skills and team mindset
