Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Project management experience with a wide scope of responsibility to take projects from order through to full production
• To lead multi-disciplined project teams from inception to achievement of desired results
• Provide technically sound engineering solutions to achieve effective results and to resolve any potential problems or issues
• Main point of contact for designated blue-chip customers, ensuring liaisons to manage customer requirements and expectations including variations from original order
• To prepare accurate timelines for all aspects of each project
• To provide timely project status reports and presentations to the Company’s Board

• Recent / relevant experience in a Project Manager role within heavy engineering and fabrication
• Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification
• Leader in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes, systems and associated tools
• Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering information
• Effective in jig design using auto cad and inventor software
• A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
