£35,000 - £40,000 (OTE 50K) + International Projects + Bonus + Training + Hybrid Progression

Are you a Junior Commissioning Engineer or similar with knowledge of programming Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal, Step7) looking for a role that offers international travel all across the globe?

Do you want to receive training to become a go‑to technical authority whilst receiving excellent bonuses for commissioning abroad?

In this role you will be programming TIA Portal PLCs in an office environment before going out to site to test and commission. You’ll become a specialist in bespoke controls solutions for the metal forging industry, acting as a technical expert. For the first 6 months or so, you’ll be trained 1‑on‑1 from senior members of the team before accompanying the team on their international projects.

This specialist consultancy provides a suite of technical assistance and retrofit services to OEMs and global metal manufacturers. The company has grown steadily since its inception in 2009 and now has a team of 10 highly skilled engineers.

• Travel internationally for up to 12 weeks at a time.
• Code and program control systems using TIA Portal from home or a Sheffield‑based office.
• Massive earning potential through project bonuses.
• Progression within a growing company into support or management positions.

• Junior Commissioning Engineer or similar.
• Experience with TIA Portal or Step 7 programming.
