Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Immediate Start Available

Are you an experienced UK primary Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role in Rotherham? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate TA who has proven experience working within UK primary schools and is confident supporting children with SEND.

• Provide dedicated 1:1 classroom support to a primary-aged pupil
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Deliver tailored interventions and support learning plans
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Track progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents

• ✔️
  Minimum 2 months UK experience in a primary school setting
• ✔️ Experience supporting pupils with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs)
• ✔️ Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
• ✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• ✔️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience delivering phonics interventions
• Team Teach or equivalent behaviour training
