Are you a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a primary school in Rotherham? We are seeking a committed LSA to join our inclusive and nurturing primary school community in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant or a graduate looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive primary school setting.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Support children with additional needs, including SEND

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions

• Help raise attainment and support pupil progress

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources

This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

To be successful in this Rotherham Learning Support Assistant role, you should have:

• Previous experience working in a primary school or education setting

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (desirable)

• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• The right to work in the UK
