Teaching Assistant Needed in Rotherham

Academics, a specialist education agency, is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support primary schools across Rotherham.

As a Teaching Assistant in Rotherham, you will play a vital role within the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, assisting the class teacher with behaviour management, and helping to prepare learning resources to support lessons.

• A recognised CACHE or NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or a related field such as Early Years Education)
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
• A genuine passion for supporting and nurturing primary-aged children
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and a willingness to complete mandatory annual training
• A Paediatric First Aid certificate (highly desirable)

• Competitive Pay: £88.94 - £95.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience)
