SEN Teaching Assistant | Rotherham

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We are working with a well‑established supply agency to recruit passionate and skilled SEN TAs to work across a variety of primary schools in Rotherham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, while gaining experience in a range of school settings.

• Provide tailored support to children with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties).
• Work flexibly across different primary schools in Rotherham, adapting quickly to new environments and teams.
• Support pupils both in and out of the classroom to access learning and develop key life skills.
• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to deliver high‑quality, inclusive education.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, helping them to feel safe, supported, and confident in their learning.

• Experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting is essential.
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children thrive.

• Possess a valid DBS (or be willing to obtain one).
• Provide a minimum of two suitable references covering the last two years.
• Experience working in schools.

• Fully funded CPD courses.
• £300 bonus if you're already registered with another agency after 30 days.
