Children’s Residential Support Worker – Rotherham (CPI Training Required or Willing to Complete)

We are currently recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers to join teams across Rotherham
, working in both mainstream and disabilities residential homes.
What is CPI Training?
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training equips you with the skills to safely manage challenging or crisis behaviour using de-escalation strategies, respectful intervention techniques, and a trauma-informed approach. It is essential for anyone supporting young people with emotional or behavioural needs.
Role OverviewAs a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Work under the direction of the Registered Manager, Senior Staff and Care Officers.
- Support children and young people with their emotional, social and physical needs
. - Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships
. - Safely support young people who may present challenging behaviour
, using CPI techniques. - Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated residential team.
£14–£18 per hour
, depending on experience and shift pattern.
