EMT Talent are currently supporting a growing and well-established engineering business who are looking for a motivated individual to join a busy service environment, supporting coordination and pricing of smaller-scale work.

The Role

This position focuses on supporting the quoting and processing of field engineer jobs. You will review recommendations, prepare estimates, and help manage work from quote to completion. The role is detail-oriented and process-driven, requiring strong organisation and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

Hours:

09.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 4pm Finish

Key Responsibilities
  • Review work recommendations from field staff
  • Liaise with colleagues to clarify scope and priorities
  • Prepare accurate costings and estimates
  • Issue quotes and follow up to support order progression
  • Log confirmed orders into internal systems
  • Assist in coordinating work with internal teams or external partners
  • Support planning and scheduling of small-scale jobs
  • Contribute to maintaining reliable external contacts
  • Work towards targets for quotes and orders
Ideal Background

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in minor estimating, service coordination, administration, or technical support
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Pays close attention to detail and demonstrates commercial awarenessli>
  • Communicates confidently with colleagues and clients
  • Is comfortable working within structured systems and processes

No prior industry experience is required - full training will be provided.
