Overview

Sewell Wallis are working with a long-standing Chartered Accounting Firm in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and are looking to expand their team due to growth. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee accounts preparation and tax returns.

Responsibilities
  • Accounts preparation for a range of SMEs across various industries (up to £50m T/O)
  • Client bookkeeping
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of corporate tax returns
Qualifications
  • Part-qualified or qualified chartered accountant
  • Practice experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to prioritise workloads
  • Attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach and team player
