Accounts Assistant

A well-established and growing accountancy practice is now looking to hire experienced Accounts Assistants.

This is a hands‑on, transactional role to start with, designed for people who already understand practice life and can hit the ground running. Over time, the role naturally progresses into direct client contact and becoming a first point of call for your own clients.

• Supporting accounts preparation
• Completing VAT returns
• Managing transactional accounting tasks
• Working closely with senior team members
• Progressing into client‑facing responsibilities as you settle in

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice (essential)
• Confident with accounts and VAT
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy environment
• Practical, reliable, enjoys working as a team and independently.
• Fully on‑site to support learning and integration
• Flexitime, as well as overtime available with time back in lieu
• 23 days holiday
• Study support available. Equally open to candidates not currently studying
