Sells new vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Serves as a liaison between the dealership and its customers and represents the dealership at various public relations events.

Qualifications

  • Follow dealership procedures for paperwork and customer follow-up.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay current with new offerings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and proper vehicle delivery.
  • Follow up post-delivery and maintain prospect development systems.

Job-Specific Expectations

  • Introduce customers to parts, service, F&I, and general merchandise departments.
  • Utilize floor time effectively and follow established procedures for warranty and paperwork.
  • Develop prospects and demonstrate product advantages.
  • Cross-sell accessories, parts, F&I products, and warranties.
  • Greet customers promptly, verify qualification, and handle complaints empathetically.
  • Ensure consistent customer treatment and conduct transactions courteously.
  • Create customer loyalty events during vehicle delivery.
  • Use a standardized quotation process and follow up for additional sales.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and stay current with sales techniques through training.
