Job Description:

• Join a dynamic Emergency Department team in Eastern NM!
• Travel position starts ASAP and spans 13 weeks.
• Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, with every other weekend required.
• Floating required, but rarely needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of ER nursing experience.
• Required certifications: NIHSS, SAMA or CPI, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional care to Emergency Room patients.
• Utilize the Nursing Process per state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Exhibit critical thinking and scientific judgment.
• Plan and anticipate safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide guidance and supervision to patient care personnel.

Additional Information:

• Fingerprints required for all NM travelers.
• Possible approval for 48-hour guarantees; please indicate in submission.
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated; specify in submission.
• Emergency Department features 23 beds.
• Patient ratio: 1:4-6.
• Scrubs:
  Royal Blue.
