• Unit:
  Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend
• Duration: 13-week contract (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1680
• Patient Ratio: 1:6, occasionally 1:7
• Floating:
  Required as needed; may float to ICU for Med/Surg Overflow or Step Down patients
• EMR:
  Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System
• Scrubs:
  Royal Blue
• No call required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travel nurses (agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate and support patients and their families
• Float to ICU or Step Down units for Med/Surg Overflow patients as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
