Job Title: Housekeeper/Laundry Aide

Location: Spring River Rehabilitation and Care Center, Roswell, New Mexico

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our compassionate team. This individual will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and is committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and resident care.

• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and work spaces in accordance with facility standards.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize all assigned areas on a scheduled basis.
• Clean and restock restrooms to ensure they are sanitary and well-supplied.
• Safely collect, launder, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing as assigned.
• Handle cleaning agents and equipment safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance concerns or repair needs promptly to the supervisor.
• Dispose of trash and maintain proper waste-handling protocols.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards in all housekeeping and laundry activities.
• Provide assistance and support to residents and staff as needed.
• Perform duties with compassion, respect, and professionalism at all times.

• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to teamwork and providing high-quality service to residents.
