The Director of Logistics provides strategic and operational leadership for all logistics and transportation functions. The role oversees the tanker truck fleet and related delivery assets, ensuring operations are safe, compliant, cost‑effective, and aligned with objectives. Responsibilities include fleet performance, P&L, strategic planning, long‑term acquisition strategy, routing optimization, and regulatory compliance.

• Provide strategic leadership for logistics and fleet operations
• Manage P&L responsibility for the logistics division
• Oversee acquisition, utilization, and life‑cycle management of fleet assets
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
• Partner with Safety, Plant Operations, and executive leadership
• Lead insurance, claims management, and risk mitigation efforts
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to safety, cost control, and asset utilization
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization initiatives

• Strategic thinker with strong financial and operational acumen
• Excellent leader and team‑builder with ability to develop high‑performing teams
• Strong communicator and superior relationship management abilities
• Data‑driven decision maker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of logistics, transportation, or fleet management experience
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role with P&L responsibility
• Strong background in DOT and fleet compliance
• Experience managing tanker or bulk chemical transportation preferred
