Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM (30 hours per week)

Building Kidz is dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Our goal is to foster growth and development while making sure all needs, including nutrition, are met in a safe and enjoyable manner. We are seeking a reliable and energetic Kitchen Assistant to join our team and support the chef in delivering healthy, delicious snacks and meals to our students.

• Assist the chef with food preparation for snacks and meals.
• Pass out snacks and meals to children in a timely and friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and wiping down surfaces.
• Help with food storage and organization of kitchen supplies.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and lifting boxes or heavy items such as large cans of food.
• Ensure all kitchen safety and sanitation standards are met.

• Strong communication skills with both adults and children.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
• Able to lift boxes and heavy items safely.
• Prior kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required.
