Position SummaryThe Senior Tax Analyst will support tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities while partnering cross‑functionally across direct tax, indirect tax, treasury, and related finance projects. This role will also collaborate with external tax advisors, insurance providers, and other vendor partners to ensure accurate and timely filings, reporting, and project execution. This position is ideal for a self‑starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and enjoys improving processes and supporting multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities - Tax & Compliance- Assist with federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting processes.
- Support preparation and review of income, sales and use, and other indirect tax filings.
- Maintain tax calendars, documentation, and work papers.
- Assist with audits, notices, and information requests.
- Work cross‑functionally with direct tax, indirect tax, treasury, and accounting teams on reporting and special projects.
- Support treasury and cash‑related initiatives that have tax implications.
- Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and data gathering for strategic initiatives.
- Partner with external tax firms, insurance providers, and other vendor partners to coordinate filings, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Review deliverables from third‑party providers for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and analytical support for tax provisions and reporting.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis related to tax impacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of relevant tax or accounting experience.
- Experience working with multiple tax types (direct and indirect exposure preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
- Experience working with external tax advisors or consulting firms.
- Exposure to treasury or multi‑entity corporate environments.
- CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Analytical mindset and proactive problem‑solving ability.
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Roswell, GA;
