AboutThe Role
As the Senior Manager, Finance, you will serve as a key business partner to business leadership. You’ll lead financial planning, develop robust cost and inventory insights, identify risks and opportunities, and guide a team of plant controllers to support consistent and accurate financial decision‑making. You will also oversee product costing, capital investments, and advanced analytics initiatives that directly impact business performance.
This position is for our Water Heater Division located in Roswell, GA (Hybrid – 4 days in office).
Responsibilities- Lead financial planning and analysis for the Water Heating Division, providing insights, cost optimization, inventory performance, and operational trends.
- Develop and maintain advanced reporting tools for tracking, benchmarking, variance analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Build standardized financial models to support strategic decisions such as make vs buy, last time buys, inventory strategy, and plant cost comparisons.
- Partner with operations through the forecasting process and annual budgeting process; ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Analyze inventory performance, including inventory turns, E&O exposure, and ABC classifications.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to optimize working capital and reduce E&O risks.
- Establish consistent planning methodologies across revenue, COGS, and support categories.
- Support ongoing process improvements across financial systems, policies, and business processes.
- Stay informed on product lines, new product launches, and end‑of‑life transitions relevant to cost and inventory strategies.
- Participate in leadership meetings and manage special projects, including advanced analytics initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in automotive or large‑scale product manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
- Expertise in ERP and financial systems (Oracle preferred; Onstream; strong Microsoft Office skills required).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to executive audiences.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% across the U.S. and Mexico.
