Position: Technical Office Lead (PE)

Salary: $175k-$200k base salary (Negotiable, depending on experience) plus full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and performance incentives.

Job Summary

Our client, a leading transportation infrastructure firm, is seeking a Technical Office Lead (PE) to lead their Roswell, GA office. This role is ideal for a Georgia‑licensed Professional Engineer with extensive GDOT project experience, strong relationships within GDOT, and a proven track record of delivering roadway and/or bridge projects. This role combines technical project leadership with business development support, positioning the Georgia office for continued growth and success.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow the Roswell, GA office as the senior technical leader.
  • Oversee roadway and/or bridge projects, ensuring design quality and GDOT compliance.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record and mentor for project managers and engineers.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with GDOT and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with business development leadership to pursue new opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at GDOT meetings, industry events, and professional associations.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia.
  • 10‑15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience (flexible on years if experience is highly relevant).
  • Extensive GDOT project portfolio in roadway and/or bridge design and delivery.
  • Established network of GDOT project managers and familiarity with GDOT processes, standards, and expectations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with client service and business development support.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
