Join The Goddard School of Roswell, GA as a Floater/Assistant Teacher and become an integral part of our nurturing educational environment! This exciting role allows you to support our dedicated teaching staff while engaging with young learners in a fun and dynamic setting.
Hours:
9am to 6pm (Monday-Friday)
- Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and structured activities.
- Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
- Adapt to various classroom needs and assist in different age groups as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a dynamic classroom.
- Background check clearance required.
