We are seeking a detail‑oriented Tax Accountant to prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, identifying tax‑saving opportunities, and supporting clients through accurate reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review 1040, 1065, and 1120 tax returns
- Analyze financial statements and supporting documents for tax accuracy
- Research federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance
- Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend strategies
- Assist with audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or EA preferred (not required)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and accounting principles
- Proficiency with tax software Ultratax and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
