Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? Due to the retirement of St Peter’s Primary School is seeking a new passionate and dedicated Deputy Head Teacher to join our outstanding team. This exciting role offers the chance to work alongside a forward‑thinking staff team in a school renowned for its inclusivity, creativity, and strong community spirit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and management of the school.
  • Lead and inspire staff to maintain and build upon our outstanding standards.
  • Oversee teaching and learning to ensure excellent progress and achievement for all pupils.
  • Promote the Catholic ethos and ensure strong parish links remain central to school life.
  • Contribute to safeguarding, wellbeing, and pastoral care across the school community.
  • Engage positively with parents, governors, and external partners to enhance school provision.

  • Inspirational leadership style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working with staff, children, parents, and governors.
  • Passion for nurturing the whole child, including their spiritual, emotional, and physical development.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage change effectively within a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Catholic education ethos and commitment to upholding it.
  • Experience in curriculum development, assessment, and school improvement initiatives.
