Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a well-established and supportive secondary school in the Burnley area. This full-time role is due to start ASAP and will be ongoing until March 2026.

This is an excellent chance to teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school that values inclusive teaching, academic excellence, and professional development.

Daily Rate: £168 – £215 per day

About the Role:

* Deliver engaging and inspiring PE lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities

* Encourage a love for sport, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

* Monitor and support student progress through meaningful assessment and feedback

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification

* Have strong subject knowledge in Physical Education (KS3 & KS4)

* Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update Service

* Be confident in planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons

* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

* Be committed to inspiring young people and improving outcomes for all learners

* Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing
