An excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a manufacturing environment, supporting cost analysis, pricing and month-end processes while working closely with operational teams to deliver accurate financial insight.

Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 per annum

Location: Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, West Midlands

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation operating within a technical and manufacturing-focused environment.

As a Management Accountant you will play a key role in supporting cost control, pricing strategies and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts to support informed business decisions.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, the Management Accountant will contribute to project work, trial costing and ongoing financial analysis, helping to improve processes and commercial performance.

This role would suit a proactive and analytical Management Accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative, close-knit team environment.

• Production Article Costing: Maintaining and reviewing cost structures to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Target Price Costing: Supporting pricing strategies through detailed cost and margin analysis
• Raw Material and Packaging Updates: Completing monthly updates to material and packaging costs
• Trial Order Costing: Preparing costings for trial and new production orders
• Month-End Processing: Assisting with month-end close, reconciliations and reporting
• Project Support: Contributing to finance-related project work and process improvements
• Management Accounting Support: Completing ad hoc management accounting tasks as required

• A background in accounting or management accounting
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or cost-focused finance environment
• An organised and analytical approach with strong attention to detail
• Proven experience of meeting deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy
• Confidence working within a small team environment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel

• Previous experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
• Exposure to product costing, variance analysis or pricing models
