Job Details

Responsibilities

* Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients.

* Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending Physicians, Critical Care APPs, registered nurses / RNs and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

* Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Requirements

* Passion for Critical Care Unit

* 1+ years of experience in telemetry with ability to interpret cardiac rhythms

* Experience reading cardiac monitors

* Education:

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree

* Licensure:
New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration

* Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association

* Certification:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred or Cardio-Vascular Registered Nurse (BC-CVRN)
