Commercial Truck & Mobile Repair is seeking an experienced DIESEL MECHANIC. This opportunity is a dedicated on‑site position, our company does not provide emergency side‑of‑the‑road type of repairs. Our Diesel Mechanic will master troubleshooting skills, and develop a broad knowledge to properly diagnose, maintain and repair tractors and trailers. We service all makes trucks, engines and transmissions including Cat, Cummins, Detroit, Mercedes, Int’l engines, Eaton and Allison transmissions.

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6‑8 trucks, such as brakes, tires, wiring, etc.
• Perform basic and routine preventative maintenance on vehicles, along with DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle components.
• Open and close repair orders on company‑issued iPad.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most SRT times.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of Diesel Technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• CDL‑A preferred but not required.
• Ability to use iPad and associated apps.
• Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions.
• Proficient computer skills/software navigation capabilities to document repairs and use e‑mail.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
