Position Summary
Experience in environment requiring awareness with other process areas; controls work pace and progress on equipment; operates within established work routines.

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
• Read and follow documented processes
• Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure equipment is working properly
• Loads and unloads deliveries to and from regional branches
• Operate computer to enter necessary documentation
• Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
• Contributes to division results and performance
• Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

• CARBON
  :
  Bag products, samples and test;
  Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace;
  Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility wastewater treatment plant
• REGEN
  :
  Sort bottles by size and resin;
  Operate forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and on/off trucks; evacuates bottles, generating resin batches; fills and quality tests SDI products (process SDI product beginning to end).

  EDUCATION:
  
  High School Diploma or GED
• KNOWLEDGE &
  
  EXPERIENCE:
  
  Minimum two years of experience in an industrial setting;
  Knowledge of chemicals used in specific process;
  Must complete site specific safety training and operator training;
  Ability to communicate clearly to team members;
  Familiarity with MS Office suites;
  Preferred: some manufacturing/plant experience; forklift driving

• CARBON: Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training

• Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis
• Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs
• Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
• May work indoors and outdoors as needed; exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees
• May work in areas where noise level requires hearing protection
• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt
• Work surfaces may include concrete
• Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone
• Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required
