Medical Collections Coordinator (Hybrid)
We're seeking a Medical Collections Coordinator with strong insurance follow‑up experience to support the medical funding process from start to finish. In this role, you'll work directly with insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and families to resolve issues, secure required documentation, and keep accounts moving forward efficiently.

Key Responsibilities- Follow up with insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and families to resolve medical funding and coverage issues
- Review client files to ensure insurance requirements and documentation are complete and compliant
- Submit and fax insurance‑required documents prior to scheduled physician appointments and confirm appointment completion
- Communicate with families to clarify insurance information, coverage status, and next steps
- Document all interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Respond to internal and external inquiries via phone, email, fax, and SMS in a timely manner
- Use CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and related databases to track account progress
- Partner cross‑functionally to improve processes and support an efficient funding workflow
- 3+ years of experience in medical collections, medical insurance, or insurance follow‑up
- Working knowledge of insurance payer processes and documentation requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem‑solving and follow‑up skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Pay: $58,000-$62,000
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
- Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote) AFTER training (Training is 100% in‑office in Roseville, MN)
