CPA Tax Specialist

• Hybrid onsite: 3-4 days onsite in Roseville, MN area
• CPA Certified
• Excellent communication and client facing skills – entrepreneurial mindset
• Tax Preparation background (CCH is being used currently for cloud based tax prep & compliance platform)

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping the organization’s financial strength and future. Partnering closely with leadership, you’ll help guide accounting strategy, tax planning, and financial forecasting that directly supports business growth and smart decision-making.

You’ll serve as a trusted financial expert—analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and delivering insights that drive confidence at every level of the organization. From financial reporting and audits to internal controls and compliance, your work will ensure accuracy, integrity, and long-term stability.

Key responsibilities include overseeing budgets, financial reports, tax filings, audits, fixed asset tracking, and internal controls that form the foundation of a sound financial operation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and an active CPA designation
• 4–7 years of experience at the Senior Accountant
• Strong expertise in personal and business tax preparation, financial reporting, auditing, GAAP, and complex tax regulations
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to assess risk, uncover opportunities, and make strategic recommendations
• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, financial modeling, and modern financial tools
• Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus
• A strong commitment to integrity, accuracy, continuous improvement, and process excellence
