General Summary
The 39th District Court is seeking applicants for part-time clerical positions. Working hours may vary but will occur between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. The starting rate of pay is $18.00 per hour-NO BENEFITS. Employee performance will be reviewed for raises as training and responsibilities increase.
Essential Job FunctionsUnder the supervision of the Court Administrator, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, performing duties primarily related to answering phones, providing assistance to the public, cashiering, civil, criminal, and traffic court matters. Beginning work will include handling mail responsibilities, filing, data entry of case files and coordinating zoom.
The 39th District Court is a high-volume court. Experience in a court setting is preferred. Applicant should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to type and pay close attention to details. Must be a self-starter and able to work well with other employees.
