This role ensures the efficient day-to-day operation of the MRF Operations team. The position is for a forklift driver with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Candidate should have experience with operating and managing industrial trucks to load and upload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, into railroad cars or storage facilities.
Education- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of verifiable experience.
- Load, upload, and move material using various types of forklifts or other power equipment.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with all OSHA standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, and report variances as necessary.
- Maintain facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Perform daily inspection of equipment.
- Pass a forklift driving test conducted on the first day to include operation of equipment and inspection.
- Hold a non-expired Forklift Certification.
