Description

The Resident Services Coordinator II will facilitate and implement core programs as delegated by the program model, collect and record data to measure program outcomes, and identify human and community service needs of residents. Candidate must have knowledge of youth education and enrichment, group facilitation for youth and adults, complexities of homelessness, trauma, mental health, substance use, and ability to utilize person‑centered approaches, trauma‑informed best practices, and de‑escalation.

Must be able to lead and implement community engagement strategies.

Lohse is a multi‑family property with 58 units, while Pleasant Grove is also a multi‑family property with 49 units.
Experience working with families and youth is preferred.

Pay: $/hour DOE

Duties
  • Implement priority programs and essential activities as outlined in the Resident Services program model.
  • Collect required data for designated program components and record data in the Mercy Housing database accurately and timely. Maintain all reporting requirements set by funding and/or government agencies.
  • Evaluate outcomes of programs and services on a regular basis as required.
  • Conduct needs assessments, community meetings, etc., to develop a comprehensive understanding of residents and guide them toward appropriate services and resources.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of community resources (employment, education, social service agencies, etc.) for residents.
  • Participate in and/or lead activities within Mercy Housing and in collaboration with partner agencies that build professional capacity and enhance relationships.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations and individuals, emphasizing on‑site services to residents and the community.
  • Participate in the annual property and/or grant budget process and maintain accurate recording and tracking of related expenditures.
  • Collect information and document incidents that may require follow‑up by property staff and/or residents.
  • Collaborate with Resource Development staff and other Resident Services staff to share information and implement fundraising plans.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Work cooperatively with others.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in community development, social services, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
  • Two (2) years working with senior and developmentally disabled populations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Experience conducting community assessments, applying principles of conflict management, and organizing community groups, events, or programs.
  • Experience supervising staff.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Collaborate in a team environment, respecting perspectives and contributions of others.
  • Demonstrate a high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Maintain confidentiality and obtain appropriate release of information as necessary.
  • Work with people facing mental health, disability, substance abuse, legal, and financial issues.
