Compost Operations Manager Position Summary We are seeking a physically capable Compost Operations Technician to support our composting facility's daily operations. This role involves hands-on work with organic material processing, equipment and system maintenance. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain composting equipment, including water trucks, conveyors, and screening systems
* Perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
* Conduct basic plumbing tasks to maintain irrigation and leachate systems
* Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical and mechanical issues on-site
* Use basic computer programs to log data, track inventory, and monitor system performance
* Assist with facility upkeep, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining safe work areas
* Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations at all timesQualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
* Experience operating water trucks or similar heavy equipment
* Basic plumbing knowledge and hands-on repair experience
* Familiarity with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Physical Requirements
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Proven ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50 lbs+)
* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
* Comfortable working in an environment with organic waste and natural odors

Pay $21 - $23
