Role Overview

The SMB Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth within the small and medium-sized business segment. This role focuses on building and managing a high-quality pipeline, nurturing leads, closing deals, and consistently hitting quarterly and annual sales targets. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and skilled at consultative sales- guiding prospects through a smooth and educational buying experience.

Key Responsibilities Revenue Generation and Pipeline Management
  • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified SMB prospects
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close
  • Meet or exceed quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Conduct proactive follow-ups with all inbound and outbound leads
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene
Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences
  • Provide timely, professional responses to prospects via phone, email, text, and other channels
  • Educate and consult customers on Plunge products, usage best practices, installation considerations, and purchasing expectations
  • Set clear and accurate expectations to ensure a seamless buying experience
  • Guide customers through product selection based on their business needs
Sales Process Excellence
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of a world-class SMB sales process
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize systems, tools, scripts, and workflows
  • Share insights and best practices with teammates to elevate overall performance
  • Help build internal resources such as playbooks, knowledge bases, and process documentation
  • Master internal systems for workflow management, quoting, and order processing
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure smooth handoffs and an excellent customer journey
  • Surface feedback and insights from customer conversations to improve product, positioning, and strategy
Compensation Structure
  • Commissions on all sales w/ uncapped upside
  • Quarterly and Annual Bonuses based on quota
