Food and Beverage Specialist

Base pay range: $18.00/hr – $19.75/hr.

Round One Entertainment Inc. is hiring for a role that blends customer service with food and beverage operations in a lively entertainment setting.

Essential Duties:

• Operates POS register for food and drinks (includes bar register when directed).
• Prepares food and beverage items utilizing the policies and standards of the company.
• Resets and busses the food court seating area.
• Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
• Conducts all opening and closing procedures (opens and closes cash tills, kitchen cleaning, etc.).
• Manages food and beverage inventory by the store’s policies and procedures.
• Maintains proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
• Manages plates, cups, and other utensil inventory by store policies and procedures.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning including laundry of rags.
• Responds responsively and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and lend out facility and equipment (karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and issues cards and credits for arcade (AM).
• Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Store Management.

Non-Essential Duties:

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Education/

Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one to two years of experience in hospitality or retail environment.
• Experience in a bowling establishment preferred, but not required.
• Bartending experience preferred.

Work Environment: Regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. Noise level usually loud.

Physical Demands: Requires bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, high mobility in small spaces; stand and walk for extended periods during busy times; use hands/fingers to handle items; lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
