. Reporting to the Assistant City Manager, this executive-level role provides strategic and operational leadership for a highly visible, multi-faceted department that enhances quality of life for residents of all ages.
The Director oversees a large and diverse organization with responsibility for parks and natural resources, park planning and development, recreation and youth services, libraries and cultural arts, facilities, department marketing and communications and administrative operations, along with a workforce of more than 165 full-time employees, 700 hundred part-time and seasonal staff, and an annual operating budget exceeding $50 million.

Salary and BenefitsAnnual Salary: $187,579 – $251,374 DOE/DOQ,
