Position Summary:

This role will ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of all equipment in FCC’s MRF facilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develops and maintains PM program for processing equipment by scheduling and managing all maintenance activities
* Manages the operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; adhering to operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
* Ability to identify problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
* Manages full-time, temporary and contract maintenance personnel
* Develops and maintains contracts with vendors
* Ability to purchase and negotiate cost effective tools, parts and maintenance/repair service from suppliers
* Manages and avoids downtime by leading personnel in routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring adherence
* Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
* Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
* Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsEducation
* High School Diploma
* Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Experience and

Competencies:

* Previous MRF experience
* 3-5 years of experience in an maintenance management role
* Experience with Microsoft Excel is required
* Strong attention to detail
* Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor
