Job Description

Mid-sized Roseville law firm seeks a seasoned paralegal with 10+ years of experience in civil litigation and construction defect law. Reliable transportation and a CDL are required.

Position Requirements:

• Propound and respond to discovery
• Handle case-management order compliance efficiently
• Draft and revise detailed status letters for clients
• Review, analyze, and summarize large volumes of records and documents
• Operate Adobe Pro competently
• Prepare cases for depositions, mediations, and trials
• Prepare legal arguments, applications, declarations, and motions
• Prepare legal documents, filings, and general correspondence accurately and precisely
• Manage a large caseload independently with minimal supervision
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize with excellent follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of court rules
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, TABS time-keeping systems, and Internet applications

Education or experience: AA degree required; BA or BS preferred. Must possess a paralegal certificate or be grandfathered in.

Compensation:
Starting salary comparable to going rates and commensurate with experience.

Hours:

8:30‑5:00 (flexible).
